All Wyze Scale devices measure your body composition metrics, like BMI, muscle mass, and lean body mass using Bio-electric Impedance Analysis (BIA). Those metrics are shown under the Data section for your scale in the Wyze app.
What do the numbers mean?
Using BIA, your Wyze Scale device combines your personal data (age, height, sex) with your weight and impedance, to calculate all of your unique measurements. In the Wyze app, each body composition metric includes a general definition and your measurement as a number.
What do the colours mean?
When viewing your data, the colours (green, white, black, or red) and lines are visualizations of the data with contrast for readability.
👉 The colours are simply design choices by our app team, but the numerical values are your data.
What do the ranges mean?
Your measurements are positioned on a line graph with a range* above it. These ranges are often a set of numbers or percentage points. The ranges presented are standard body composition ranges used on many smart scales on the market that use BIA. Your ranges may vary based on your own personal data, and if you're using Athlete Mode.
